A shop assistant was assualted during a raid on a Aldridge store in which cash was stolen.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the robbery at the Co-op in Walsall Wood Road,between 22.40pm - 22.45pm on November 14th.
Two male offenders entered the back of the store and threatened a male and female member of staff,before punching the man in the face,causing injury.The offenders then stole a quantity of cash and two "scream" masks before fleeing.
The first offender is descibed as 6 foot 2 ins tall,with blue eyes and a Midland accent.He wore a black cotton coat with the hood up,black gloves and black trousers and trainers with a white and silver design.
The second offender is described as a black male,5 foot 7 ins to 5 foot 9ins tall,with a medium build and a Midland accent.He wore glasses,a grey and black hooded top with the hood up,a black scarf aroung his face,black gloves,black jogging bottoms with a thin white or silver trim down the legs.
