Aldridge Residents Mission Statement

Aldridge Residents Association   

(formerly Aldridge Friends of the Croft)

Our Purpose

Creating a voice for all Aldridge Residents,enhancing quality of Life and Equal Opportunities in Aldridge.

Our Mission Statement

"Putting Aldridge Residents First".

 

Our Aims.

  • Encourage the active involvement of local residents in the decision making process to improve the quality of our lives.
  • To help and support local Aldridge Residents to achieve their true potential and achieve the necessary skills and knowledge to make a positive contribution to our neighbourhood.
  • To recognise and respond as a group to the differences within the local community.
  • To improve communication's to all local groups by cascading information on a regular and timely basis by launching our own web site and news letter.
  • To arange and hold regular monthly meetings to encourage participation and provide regular information to all of the Aldridge Community.
  • To sustain a better place to live and work.
  • Improve Health well - being and Social care.
  • Improving Health and Safety and Crime reduction.
  • Try to encourage Community Participation.
  • To promote and campaign for improved youth provisions.
  • To be aware of applying for grants to support finance and promote projects that will improve the quality of life of Aldridge Residents.

 

We will make every effort to send representatives to attend and provide feedback to our members on :-

  • Monthly Health Watch Meetings,held at Aldridge Community Centre,Middlemore Lane,Aldridge.

 

  • Monthly Aldridge South Neighbourhood Watch Meetings.These are held at the Friary club,Whetstone Lane,Aldridge on a Tuesday evening commencing at 19.00pm. (1st Tuesday in the month)

 

  • Quarterly Police Consultative Committee Meetings usually held at Walsall Town Hall,Walsall..

 

  • Walsall Community Enpowerment Network meetings.

 

  • Aldridge South and Streetly L.N.P. meetings usually held at Streetly Youth Centre and Aldridge School.

 

  • Get Involved You can influence decision Making in Aldridge.

 

Trying our best to keep Aldridge Residents aware and to the fore front of whats going on.
